Doing this late this month due to work being CRAZY right now. October was pretty good reading-wise, which is good because November is going to tank. Let’s take a look at how it went.
October Reads

Seven books in all. Not too bad. I’ll take it.
Only a handful of days where I didn’t read and a nice spread between physical copies, ebooks and audio books.
Challenge Updates
GoodReads Challenge: My goal was to read 75 books this year. At the end of October, I was sitting at 62 books read. According to GoodReads, I am still on track. Hopefully I’ll continue to do well in the next two months – we’re so close!
Complete the Series: My goal was to complete six of the nineteen series that I haven’t completed yet. I am still sitting at five completed series, since I didn’t work on any of them this month. In fact, with Subject A36, I technically have started a new series without completing it – there is a second book out. I’m still trying to decide if I want to complete this series or not.
Beat the Backlist: My goal this year was to read 25 books off of my owned TBR and I actually read one this month with Fallen! This brings my total to seven books read for this challenge, so it is highly unlikely that I will meet this goal this year. Like I said last month, I think have this goal and Complete the Series going at the same time is probably too much. I will probably only work towards one of them next year, although which one remains to be seen.
A-to-Z Challenge: I added two letters this month – F for Fallen and V for The Vicious Circle. I still have seven letters left though: J, K, O, R, X, Y and Z. Depending on how other things shake out, I may not complete this one. Still a small chance, but it’s diminishing rapidly.

Still keeping up with reviews, and managed to sneak in a few from 2023 that I hadn’t done before. So yay!
Overall, October was a really good month for reading and blogging. With only two more months left, I’m hoping to finish out the year strong (even if November has started off super slow).
