www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Since last week I finished both The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. I had read The Handmaid’s Tale before, and had almost forgotten just how good it was, but I had never read The Testaments. It was even better. It was so good that I pretty much read it over the course of 24 hours. I could not put it down. Plus, since this was technically a very small series and I hadn’t read the second book before, I am counting this as another step towards my “Complete the Series” goal. Yay!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare, book #1 in The Last Hours series. This book isn’t really working towards any of my reading goals this year, other than GoodReads, but I love Clare’s work and this is her most recent trilogy. The third book just came out last month, so I am aiming to read the entire series.

Which, of course, means . . .

What do think you’ll read next?

Next up, I plan on reading Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare, which is (you guessed it) book # 2 in The Last Hours series. Since these books are pretty long (the first two books are both nearly 600 pages), I doubt that I will be reading multiple books a week for a while until I finish these. Luckily, Clare’s writing is still a pretty quick read despite how long it is. It really doesn’t feel like 600 pages.

That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!
