WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since my last WWW post, I finished both Becoming by Michelle Obama and Priestess Dreaming by Yasmine Galenorn. I also finished two more of the Otherworld books, Panther Prowling by Yasmine Galenorn and Darkness Raging by Yasmine Galenorn. This isn’t much to finish in the time since my last WWW post, but as I already said, the last couple of months have been really weird for me. I’m just glad I made any progress at all.
What are you currently reading?
Continuing on with Otherworld with Moon Shimmers by Yasmine Galenorn. I have this book and then two more and then I’m done! I think I can make it by the end of the year. Fingers crossed! I am also reading An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. This is the first book of a duology. I’ve read this one before but not the second one, so this would be one more series to cross off if I can finish both of them this month. Again, fingers crossed! The last book that I’m reading is Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan. I found this book because I joined a book club on Fable! This is a really cool app (not sponsored) that has a lot of book clubs to join. I joined one hosted by Ezeekat (of TikTok/Instagram fame). I only just started but it’s really fun so far!
What do you think you’ll read next?
My goal is to finish both the Otherworld series and The Carls duology. That means that I will be reading Harvest Song and Blood Bonds by Yasmine Galenorn, as well as A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green. I will also read the second Sue Lynn Tan book, Heart of the Sun Warrior, but I’m trying to focus on the other two series first.
Trying to get back on track with everything. It’s ambitious, but I think I can do it.
Please leave your WWW in comments!

I’m so happy you’re enjoying Daughter of the Moon Goddess! It really surprised me!
I’m only a few chapters in, but I am loving the dreamlike quality of the writing. It’s so beautiful!
Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Heart of the Sun Warrior just look so incredibly gorgeous! I’m not much of a fantasy reader but those covers are almost convincing me to give it a try haha. Would you say its very high fantasy or pretty easy to get into? Have a great week!

Those covers are so beautiful aren’t they! I hadn’t seen the Heart of the Sun Warrior one until today when I pulled it to put on my blog. As far as high fantasy, it’s not really, at least not to me. From what I understand, it is a retelling of a Chinese myth or fairy tale (I’m not familiar with the original story, so it’s all new to me). The writing is very light and beautiful. I keep using the word “dreamlike” to describe it, but that’s just how it feels to me. I am really enjoying it so far, although I think I’m only on chapter 4 at the moment.
Sounds great! I might actually go ahead and give it a try at some point. Thanks!
A good load of books there. I’ve not been as in to my reading recently. Fingers crossed that changes!
Have a great week!

I can totally relate. It’s been a rough few months.
Fingers crossed it gets better soon 😊
I loved Becoming and I”m on a huge waitlist for the audio of her new book. I hope you enjoy Daughter of the Moon Goddess! I was a little underwhelmed but I had insane expectations. lol. I hope you have a lovely week!
My WWW!
I knew nothing about Daughter of the Moon Goddess, so I had no expectations at all. I’m enjoying it so far!
That’s great! It has a trope that I can’t quite stand so that was my main issue! Other then that the world is very cool!
I am curious about the Hank Green books.
I know the first one is good, since I’ve read it before. Looking forward to seeing what the second one is all about.
