www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished reading both of these a while ago . . . and then headed straight into a depression fueled reading slump. Not particularly fun, but I think things are a bit better now. In any case, I finished reading Crimson Veil by Yasmine Galenorn, the 15th book in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. I also finally finished Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare, the 3rd and final book of the Dark Artifices series. That one took a while – the thing is almost 900 pages!

What are you currently reading?

I am still reading Becoming by Michelle Obama. I am enjoying it, but it’s a very slow read. I also started reading Priestess Dreaming by Yasmine Galenorn, the next Otherworld book. It looks like, if I can get back to the pace I was at before, I should easily finish the series this year, which makes me very happy.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My current plan (that is always subject to change) is to continue the Otherworld series by reading Panther Prowling by Yasmine Galenorn. I also want to try and tackle one more series this year for my “Complete the Series” goal, even though I don’t have a lot of time left and can’t honestly be sure whether or not I will fall into another slump again. I do plan on starting An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. This would be a re-read and, since this is the start of a duology, a pretty short series to finish off. Maybe I can squeeze another in there, but I’m not making promises.

Panther Prowling    an absolutely remarkable thing

I’ll be honest, I’m a little frustrated with myself right now. Last month was such a good reading month for me. I didn’t expect to completely fall apart like I did over the past few weeks (in more ways than one). Trying to not be too hard on myself (because that only makes me feel worse) and to admit that in the grand scheme of things, this really doesn’t matter all that much. I’ll get over it. I’ll just be down for a while.

  1. I loved Becoming! Enjoy your books and your week, and here’s MY WWW POST

  2. A good mix of books. To finish a 900 page book is an achievement!

In my view reading is just for fun and it will always be there ☺️

I hope you feel better soon.
