www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished both of my current reads from last week – Pachinko by Lee Min-Jin and Autumn Whispers by Yasmine Galenorn. Talk about opposite sides of the spectrum! I enjoyed both of them in different ways, Pachinko because it is different from some of the stuff I usually read, and Autumn Whispers because I am enjoying this series so much and super excited that I’m most likely going to finish it this year.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading three books. I jumped into Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare pretty quickly. It’s the third and final book in the Dark Artifices series and I am so curious where this is going to land. Could be any number of different ways and Cassie always likes to keep you guessing! Of course, I am also reading Crimson Veil by Yasmine Galenorn, the next book in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. I also started reading Becoming by Michelle Obama, yet another book that I wouldn’t usually pick up but that I am enjoying immensely. I have so much respect for this incredible woman and I’m so glad that the Seasonal Reading Challenge inspired me to pick up this book.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I only have two planned for my next reads once I finish up some of my current ones. I know that I will read Priestess Dreaming by Yasmine Galenorn – I’m almost up to book #16! I also decided the next series that I’m going to tackle, which means that I will be re-reading An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green. This series is only a duology, so completing it will be pretty easy, but will also still count towards my goal. All of this may change depending on what I want to throw in with the Seasonal Reading Challenge, so we’ll see.

That’s my reading week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

  2. I am curious about An Absolutely Remarkable Thing…and I loved Becoming.

  3. I read Pachinko earlier this year and it was really interesting. I didn’t absolutely love it, but I did think about it for a long time after and it’s one of the books I remember most vividly from this year.
