WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
As I mentioned in my August review, since last WWW, I finished Splintered by A.G. Howard. One of my favorites books in one of my favorite series, but I was glad to finish it quickly because I had a lot of plans once September came around.
What are you currently reading?
I am currently reading not one, not two . . . but three books! It’s been a while since I’ve read so much at once, but they are all very different so it’s working out for me and my brain. I am reading Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare, book #1 in the Dark Artifices trilogy. This is the next series I am tackling on my “Complete the Series” challenge. I am also continuing with the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series by reading Shadow Rising by Yasmine Galenorn. This is book #12 of 21 in the series so I am making steady progress. The third book I am reading is The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd. This is a read along book with the Seasonal Reading Challenge over on GoodReads for one of their tasks. What I love about those is that it makes me seek out books that I haven’t heard of or that I wouldn’t have picked up otherwise. I’m glad it did because I’m really enjoying it so far!
What do you think you’ll read next?
My current plans are to keep going with these two series, as you can probably guess. That means that I will be reading Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare and Haunted Moon by Yasmine Galenorn. For my third book, I am selecting another one of the group readalongs at SRC and reading Pachinko by Lee Min-Jin. Unfortunately, I can’t claim both books for points in the challenge – you can only select one readalong book for that – but since I liked being pushed outside my boundaries with new books, I’ve decided to try and read all four of the readalong books during the Fall challenge. Why not?
Please leave your WWW in comments!

I have those Cassandra Clare books on my shelf and really need to read them at some point! I also want to read the Cartographers.
Have a great week!

Cassie Clare is really good about being lighthearted and snarky and then hitting you in the feels. I’ve always enjoyed her books, just hadn’t gotten around to reading this particular trilogy.
Yes! I love her stuff. The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devises are the only two that I have read. I have also read a book on Magnus Bane.
I have never read Cassandra Clare, but I’m curious. Here’s MY WWW POST
She’s a lot of fun if you enjoy anything paranormal.
Nice! I have heard a lot of good things about The Cartographers and Pachinko.
