WWW Wednesday – August 24, 2022

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Still moving right along with the two series that I’m working on. I finished both books I was reading last week: The Gray Wolf Throne by Cinda Williams Chima, book #3 in the Seven Realms series, and Courting Darkness by Yasmine Galenorn, book #10 in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. Feeling very good about the progress I’m making. 🙂

What are you currently reading?

I am continuing on these series and I’m almost finished with one of them – yay! I started reading The Crimson Crown by Cinda Williams Chima, the fourth and final book in the Seven Realms series. One more to cross off my list! Yay! I am also reading the next book in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series, Shaded Vision by Yasmine Galenorn. Nowhere near finishing this series yet, but once I finish this book, I will be past the halfway point. Maybe I will finish this series before the end of the year. It’s going to be a race to the finish, that’s for sure. I also started a re-read last night of Splintered by A.G. Howard. An Alice in Wonderland retelling, this book and trilogy is one of my all-time favorites. It’s a nice comfort book to sink into.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Since I will be finishing the Seven Realms series, I plan on starting another series on my list. My next choice is Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare, the first book in the Dark Artifices series. I’ve read her other Shadowhunter books and love them, but never continued with this trilogy after the first one. Time to fix that! I will also, of course, continue on with the Otherworld books by reading Shadow Rising by Yasmine Galenorn. I haven’t decided yet if I will continue with the Splintered series or not. I’ve read all of them, so I don’t have to worry about trying to complete the series. It will mostly depend on whether or not I have time, but if I do, then I will pick up Unhinged by A.G. Howard, the second book in the trilogy.

That’s it for me this week! Please leave your WWW in comments!
