WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Be proud of me, everyone! I actually finished both books I was working on last week! Yay!!!! Take that, reading slump!!!
I should probably be quiet, just in case Reading Slump hears me and decides to come back. Let’s quietly celebrate then (yay).
This means that I finished The Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima and Blood Wyne by Yasmine Galenorn. Both were very good and I enjoyed them so much.
What are you currently reading?
Keeping with my current predictability, I am currently reading the next two books in those series, which are The Gray Wolf Throne by Cinda Williams Chima, book #3 in the Seven Realms series, and Courting Darkness by Yasmine Galenorn, book #10 in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series.
I’ve made decent progress on both of them so far and should definitely finish them in August. I’m also hoping to finish . . .
What do you think you’ll read next?
Once again, I will be continuing with these two series, but also completing one of them. This will check off another from my “Complete the Series” list, which is awesome. I’ve really been enjoying the Seven Realms series and can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get around to it. The Crimson Crown by Cinda Williams Chima is the conclusion to the story and I honestly don’t know where she’s going to go with this. I love that!
I will also be continuing with the Otherworld series with Shaded Vision by Yasmine Galenorn. Not only is this book from the point of view of my favorite of the three sisters, but it will also mark the halfway point in the series. Making good progress! I still don’t know if I will finish it by the end of the year, but I am giving it a shot.
I actually have something that is helping me figure out my reading patterns and helping me set goals, but I won’t unveil that until I do my wrap up for August. In September, I also want to try and jump back into the Seasonal Reading Challenge for Fall over on GoodReads. I don’t necessarily need the prompts to help me pick books to read, since I’m focusing on these series so much, but it’s fun to see how many points I can get with the books that I read. And the community is awesome.
That’s it for me this week. I’m hoping that I can get a review posted tomorrow (once again, I am behind) but my track record on those isn’t great.
Please leave your WWW in comments!

I don’t know either of these series but I admire your persistence. I used to work in publishing and we measured our sales success by how (if we could tell) readers pursued a series. Once an author (Tad Williams) delivered his manuscript twice as long as expected. It would have been too expensive to publish that way so they made him do some edits and turned it into two books. It seemed like a win-win but he was worried the readers would be upset after waiting a long time for the book to only get half and have to wait (I think) 9 months for the rest. Not to mention paying twice! It did work out in the end.
