www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Since my last WWW was three weeks ago, I’ve finished quite a few books. Sorry for the disappearing act, everyone. Had some pretty major personal stuff to deal with. I’ll get into that in another post, but here is what I finished since the last time we spoke:

  • Demon Mistress by Yasmine Galenorn (book #6 in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series)
  • Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs  (book #1 in the Miss Peregrine series)
  • Slippers and Thieves by Christina Bauer (book #4 in the Magicorum series)
  • Bandits and Ball Gowns by Christina Bauer (book #5 in the Magicorum series)
  • Fire and Cinder by Christina Bauer (book #6 in the Magicorum series)
  • Fairies and Frosting by Christina Bauer (book #7 in the Magicorum series)

I know it looks like a lot, but the Magicorum books are fairly short, quick reads. As a reminder, I have a blog tour coming up for book #9 in that series, so stay tuned!

What are you currently reading?

Only one book, as of right now – Towers and Tithes by Christina Bauer, book #8 in the Magicorum series. I’ve been trying to direct most of my attention to getting through this series to prepare for the blog tour. This is why I don’t usually request books that aren’t the beginnings of series, but I must have missed that with this one (actually, I don’t remember signing up for this one at all until I got the email saying that they gave me a tour date – not complaining, but it was just really weird). Luckily, as I said, the books are pretty quick reads and the publisher gave us reader copies of the first eight books, which was really nice of them.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The obvious answer would be Mirrors and Mysteries by Christina Bauer, book #9 in the Magicorum series and the subject of the blog tour. I also plan on jumping back into the other two series I was reading previously, so that means I will be reading Hollow City by Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrine book #2) and Bone Magic by Yasmine Galenorn (Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon book #7). I guess you could say I sort of already started Hollow City since I shared it for Teaser Tuesday yesterday, but I only pulled up the first page and shared the first few sentences. Not really properly starting the book, but I’ll do that here in the next few days.

Please leave your WWW in comments!
