WWW Wednesday – October 27, 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Hey, I did finish something this week! I feel like as long as I finish one book each week, I’m doing okay. Still progressing forward, you know? I finished reading The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green and it was a delightful read. Very different from Green’s other works since it is not fictional. It was nice to get more of an insight into one of my favorite authors.

What are you currently reading?

I am still reading Between the Spark and the Burn by April Genevieve Tucholke. Hoping to finish that one up maybe tomorrow. I’m also still technically reading The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien, but I haven’t read it in a little while. I need to get back to it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I want to try and get something else from my “Beat the Backlist” challenge, since once I finish Between the Spark and the Burn, I will technically have completed my “Complete the Series” challenge for the year. The problem is that I don’t want to get sucked into another series and nearly everything on my TBR is the start of a series. I had mentioned before trying to do another series, but instead I think I will do Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’ve heard lots of good things about it, so why not give it a go.
