WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I’ve been making good progress on the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. Since my last WWW post (which was over a month ago, yikes), I’ve read and finished books 2 and 3 in the series, Glass Sword and King’s Cage. I’ve been making slow but steady progress. I am not falling into a reading slump, if only by sheer will. Even if I’m not feeling like reading, I try to read for at least 30 minutes each day, usually more if I can wrap my head around it. Some days are more successful than others, but as long as there is at least some progress each week, I’m satisfied.
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading War Storm by Victoria Aveyard, the fourth and final book in the Red Queen series. This series has been a roller coaster so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where this ends up. I’m also still reading The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien, book #2 in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Keeping things simple right now, not reading too many things at once. I don’t want to get too overwhelmed.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I might flip back over and start reading The Remedy by Suzanne Young again. I think I want to try and wrap up the rest of The Program books. I really enjoyed the first duology so would be nice to see how the rest of the stories pan out. Other than that, I’m not sure. I need to look back at some of my reading challenge prompts and see if I can get some inspiration.
