WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Hey, guess what! I finally finished The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien! It’s taken me a while but I’m so glad I did it. Things definitely pick up towards the end so that made it easier. This isn’t the easiest type of fantasy novel to read when you are dangerously teetering towards another reading slump. Back, you reading slump, back! Don’t make me have to poke you with a stick!
What are you currently reading?
Still working my way through Dark Disciple by Christie Golden, although I will probably finish that one in the next day or so. It’s a pretty quick read and a very enjoyable one too. I also started reading The Treatment by Suzanne Young, book #2 in The Program series. It’s been really good so far.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Still debating on starting Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. I think that’s the next book I want to read for “Beat the Backlist,” but I don’t really want to read two series at the same time (not counting The Lord of the Rings since I really see that as one humongous book). I might hold off on my back list reads until I finish The Program series. Speaking of that, I do plan on reading The Remedy by Suzanne Young, which is book #3 in The Program series, just as soon as I finish The Treatment. I also, and this is a bigger fish to fry, but the next book that the Nerdist Book Club reads after Dark Disciple is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I’ve read it before but I really want to read it along with Rachel, Maude and Hector. It should be fun.
Those are my reads for the week. Please leave your WWW in comments!
