WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since my last WWW was on March 10th, I am happy to say that I at least finished a few things. I fell into a slight reading slump, but I worked my way out of it, or at least I’m trying to. So since then, I did finish The Bone Thief by Breeana Shields, book #2 in The Bone Charmer duology. It was really, really good, plus this knocks a series off of my “Complete the Series” list. Yay! I also finished Once Upon a Curse by Yasmine Galenorn and others. This was a collection of short stories that are either retellings or dark twists to fairy tales. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I was hoping, but I think that’s because I’m not always a big fan of short stories. More info when I get around to posting my review of it.
It’s sad that I only finished two books in the past month or so, but GoodReads says I’m still on track to hit my goal this year, so I’ll take it. Hopefully things will pick up.
What are you currently reading?
I am making very, VERY slow progress on The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien. I think it’s just because it is so slow, especially in the beginning, and my brain gets bogged down by it right now. I also started a few new books. One that I started last night was The Story of Awkward by R.K. Ryals. I think I got this one for free off of BookBub a while back. It promises to be a quick read and it’s a really cute story so far. I am also reading The Program by Suzanne Young. This is a re-read since I have selected The Program series for my next “Complete the Series” task. Lastly, I am reading Dark Disciple by Christie Golden with the Nerdist Book Club. Another Star Wars novel, which I’m excited about since I enjoyed the last one so much.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I can only guarantee that I will be reading two things for sure. One is The Treatment by Suzanne Young, the second book in The Program series. The other will be, of course, The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien. I’m not sure what the next book in the Nerdist Book Club is yet (I just started this one), but whatever it is, I will read that one next as well.
That’s it for my reads this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

I am curious about The Story of Awkward. Enjoy! Here’s MY WWW POST
It has been delightful so far.
How are you liking The Program series? I’m curious about them but am unsure if I want to buy them
My WWW post
I read the first book a few years ago and remember liking it a lot. Never finished the series at that point, so I’m hoping to do so now.
