What did you recently finish reading?
So . . . my last WWW post was on September 30th. Did I finish anything in almost a month? Well . . . . yes, but barely. As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been dealing with some stuff that has lead to yet another lovely reading slump. Which is just lovely. This week I am trying to at least read a little bit each day and focus on one book at a time. This is obviously not my normal M.O., but it will have to do for now. My first book to focus on was Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff, which I finished yesterday. I have so many thoughts, I don’t even know where to begin. I will have to try and sort it out in my brain before I even think about writing a review. Suffice it to say that it was pretty darn amazing.
What are you currently reading?
I think the next book that I am going to focus on will be to finish The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. That way I can finish up that series re-read and focus on other things.
What do you think you’ll read next?
After finishing The Amber Spyglass, I will work on finishing Prodigy by Marie Lu and Hallowed by Cynthia Hand. While I am technically still “reading” them, I’m not counting them in my current reads for right now, but I will get back to them soon. I definitely want to finish both of them, I just don’t know for sure when that will be.
It’s a bit of a weird WWW this week, but hopefully I will get back into the swing of things soon. Please leave your WWW in comments!
