WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last Wednesday, I did actually finish a book! Yay! Fending off that reading slump like a boss! I finished Scarlett Fever by Maureen Johnson, which was an absolutely delightful read. This also technically finishes a series off my “Complete the Series” list even though the series is not really complete, and probably never will be. Which is a shame, because this book ended with a bit of a cliff hanger. Oh well.
What are you currently reading?
The only book that I am actively reading right now is The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. I was also reading Legend by Marie Lu but I think that one is going to take a back seat until I get caught up on the other series that I was working on, or at least have more of a plan for.
What do you think you’ll read next?
These answers haven’t changed too much since last week. I want to read Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff with the Nerdist Book Club. I also want to read The Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter (book #2 in the Burning series) before I forget all the stuff that happened in book #1. Does that ever happen to anyone else? It’s part of why I leave so many series unfinished – I read so much that I can’t remember all the details of a book if I wait too long to read the sequel. With that in mind, I also plan on reading Hallowed by Cynthia Hand (book #2 in the Unearthly series). My goal is to get more organized this weekend if possible. I’m still six books behind in my GoodReads challenge and I honestly don’t know if I’ll make it this year, but I’m going to try!
That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

I’m interested in Lovecraft Country as well. I hope you make your Goodreads challenge! There’s still a few months to catch up 🙂
I might be able to make it. I’m still around the halfway point of my goal though, and only really have a few months left. Honestly, at this point, I’m not going to stress about it. Not completely giving up, but hey, there’s always next year! 🙂
That’s true! As long as you’re finding books you love 🙂
I am curious about Lovecraft Country. Enjoy your books and your week, and here’s MY WWW POST
The concept sounds really interesting. I can’t wait to get started!

Oh, I’ve never read The Way of Kings. If it’s that good, it might have to go on my TBR!
Congrats on getting out of your book slump! I’m currently swimming in one of my own. Enjoy your reads 🙂
Here’s my WWW Wednesday post.
I don’t know if I’m completely out of my reading slump or not. I’ve been so tired lately that it’s a bit of a struggle. My goal is to read at least a little bit each day.
The Amber Spyglass was my favorite out of the three, hope you are enjoying! Happy reading 🙂
This is a re-read of the series for me and I have been loving it. It’s so good!
I still need to read Legend, but I so relate to the having to put books on hold to get caught up on other books. xD That’s basically my 2020 mood at this point. I’m looking forward to The Fires of Vengeance, too! Enjoy your reading.
Here’s my WWW post.
2020 is a mood in so many ways! Legend started out really good, so I’m looking forward to getting back to it at some point.
I hope you enjoy checking out Lovecraft Country. I read it a few years ago, it’s really good!
