WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since my last WWW, I finished The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter. This was a really good fantasy with the second book that just came out. I’ll need to get it soon because I really want to see what happens next! I also finished Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. This book was fascinating. I love Trevor Noah on The Daily Show, but his life story has more ups and downs, twists and turns than most novels I read.
What are you currently reading?
Still working on The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman and Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson. I also started reading Unearthly by Cynthia Hand. I’ve had this on my bookshelf for a while and didn’t realize I had read another Cynthia Hand book last year, The How and the Why. This book is completely different from that one. I am also reading War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi. I’ve only barely started it but love the story world so far.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Mostly I will be looking at reading the next books in the series that I’m working on right now. That means that my next reads will be The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman (the third book in His Dark Materials trilogy), Scarlett Fever by Maureen Johnson (the second Scarlett book), Hallowed by Cynthia Hand (the second book in the Unearthly trilogy), and The Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter (the second book in the Burning series). Plenty to keep me busy for a while.
That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

It was a very good read. You should definitely check it out.
The cover for War Girls is stunning and I hope the story is too. Happy reading!
Here’s my WWW Wednesday post.
I’m loving it so far!
I’m definitely interested in War Girls, and I’m curious to hear your thoughts about it once you’re done reading it. Happy reading!
It’s really good so far!
I love the His Dark Materials trilogy, one of my all time favourites so I really hope you enjoy the final two books!
I love them too. I hadn’t done a re-read of the trilogy in a while so I’m really enjoying sinking back into that world.
