WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
My reading has slowed waaaaaaay down now that I’ve started a new job. Before I could read at work and then I was out of work for two months and had plenty of reading time. Now . . . it’s nowhere near as much. I may end up having to drop my GoodReads goal down a bit, but I’ll make that decision later.
I just finished reading The Weight of a Soul by Elizabeth Tammi. This was one of the last books I had in my NetGalley queue. I’ve already written my review and it will be up on Thursday. Other than that, I finished What I Want You To See by Catherine Linka for a blog tour. You can check out that post here.
What are you currently reading?
I’m only reading three books at the moment, and of those three, only one is actually a new read for me. As you saw from my teaser yesterday, I am reading Wanderers by Chuck Wendig. I’ve been a fan of his for years due to his website, his writing advice, and his funny Twitter feed, but I haven’t read that many of his books. I’ve been looking forward to getting to this one and so far it’s pretty good, although I’m not that far along yet. It’s a long book. Plus, this is the first book that I’m reading for the #StartOnYourShelfathon, so that’s exciting too.
I will eventually get back to reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling for my Chapter-A-Long posts. Those posts just take a long time to put together and I haven’t had the mental energy. I still list this book as a current read since I haven’t given up on it. I’m also re-reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins since I felt a reading slump coming on and usually The Hunger Games books can pull me out of that.
What do you think you’ll read next?
To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. I’m not signed up for anymore blog tours and I don’t have any new NetGalley ARCs at the moment, so I’m pretty much up to my own devices. It’s been a while since that’s happened! I think I will most likely pick up A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir – it’s on my #StartOnYourShelfathon list and I do want to finish up that series, or at least what’s out so far.
After that, I’ll most likely jump over to The Starless Sea by Erin Morganstern since I have been looking forward to that one for a while. It’s also on my husband’s reading list for this year and I’d like to read it before he gets to it.
That’s what’s on my plate for this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

Now I may be adding those books to my reading list! Right now I’m reading a biography of the author John Hersey called Mr. Straight Arrow. I read Hiroshima when I was in high school and it made a huge impact, one of those books that says in your mind. I never knew much about John Hersey, so this biography is extremely interesting to me.
That sounds interesting. I always mean to pick up more biographies but other things keep getting in the way.
What I Want You to See sounds good. Enjoy your reading; my week was slower, too. Here’s MY WWW POST
I’ve heard wonderful things about The Wanderers, and I just purchased it recently, so I’m really looking forward to picking it up! I hope you love it. I’ve been wanting to read The Starless Sea, too. Happy reading!
Here’s my WWW post.
I am also looking forward to read The Starless Sea…
