It’s been kind of a weird atmosphere today. We are expecting a large snow storm to come through our neck of the woods, which for North Carolina usually means maybe a couple of inches of snow. The problem is that no one knows for sure how much there will be – I’ve heard everything from a dusting to almost a foot. My town pretty much shuts down when there’s much winter weather, so it sounds like we’re going to be hermit-ing it up here. Not that I mind.
What else is going on. Oh, I am working on a new crochet project. Not sure if I’ve ever mentioned this or not, but I crochet like crazy. It’s my go-to stress relief activity and I love it. Of course, this means that I have ended up with more scarves than I will ever need or want. This is not a scarf, but I’m not going to tell you what it is yet. The colors are pretty though!
Some day I will actually figure out a good way to sell some of my stuff. I tried Etsy for a while, but it’s really hard to get any good traction, and I’m not very good at trying to advertise to drive people to my store. I might try it again at some point, and be a bit more obnoxious this time.
What else, what else. See, when I don’t feel like putting together a book review and don’t have a community post to do, I have a hard time thinking of things to say. That’s part of why I wanted to challenge myself to do this blogging every day thing, but it means you get stuck with random ramblings like this. Oh, Random Ramblings. Maybe I should rename my blog that. I kind of like it!
I do need to tell you the story of my job, but that can be another tale for another time. Because boy did a lot of things happen!

I’m also going to try to start selling. I’ll give etsy a go but I’m also going to look into craft things in my town. Then maybe I can build up some things and get a table to sell them all.
Yeah, I’m looking into local flea markets and craft fairs and such as well. I know a few people who participate in those things. I live in a pretty artsy town, so there should be lots of options in theory.
