WWW Wednesday – March 11, 2026

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Yesterday, I finally finished On Sundays She Picked Flowers by Yah Yah Sholfield. It’s not a long book, but it’s a LOT. I knew from the description that it dealt with a lot of heavy topics, from abuse and racism to more supernatural afflictions, but I still wasn’t quite prepared. This was from NetGalley, so I’m going to try and get a review up sooner rather than later, even though I’m a big behind on my other reviews.

What are you currently reading?

Today, I will start Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. I’m looking foward to this one. The only book of Clarke’s that I’ve read previously was Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, which I absolutely loved but it is CHONKY. Piranesi is a quarter of the length of Jonathan Strange, and that’s not an exaggeration – 245 pages versus 1006. I really love her writing though, so this should be fun.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m honestly a little stumped as to where I’m going after this. I may have to think on this and get back to you. I may be reorganizing some of my reading challenges, so it will depend on that somewhat.

That’s my reading for the week!
