Book Blogger Hop is a weekly feature hosted by Billy at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week, a new book related question is posted and everyone can share their answers. This week’s question is:
If you had to, would you pass your book collection on to someone special? If not, what would you prefer your family or friends do with your books after you’re gone?
For most of my belongings, I would say that things would go to my family, but honestly, I don’t know that many of them would want my books. What I would probably do was specify someone to be in charge of my “collection” and post something online (maybe Facebook? maybe here?) listing what I have and asking if anyone wants anything. I can think of a couple of friends who have similar reading tastes that I do so I would like for them to take their pick. Funds could be set aside for shipping costs.
Anything left over, I would want them donated to my local library. I love libraries and mine is awesome.
