WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished reading The Iron Warrior by Julie Kagawa, the third and final book in the Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten series. I have to say, it was a very satisfying ending. Not that I was worried about that. I love Kagawa’s writing and knew she would tell a good story. I’m glad I checked this one out.
What are you currently reading?
I was going to start a book for my book club, but just couldn’t get into it. Definitely not the book’s fault – I think I just wasn’t in the right headspace for it. Instead, I went to the next ARC I have for NetGalley, Beyond the Curtain by Marie Lunga. I’m about a quarter of the way through and it’s been good so far, but I can tell it’s building up to a much more complex story. We’ll see how it goes.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I want to jump on either some of these GoodReads challenges or GoodReads Award winners. I’m leaning towards My Friends by Fredrik Backman, which won the Best Fiction category in the GoodReads Awards last year. I’ve put in a hold request at my library, so we’ll see how long it takes before I can get it.
That’s my reading for the week!
