The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap what’s happened at the blog, and talk about things coming up. Let’s go!
Weekly Wrap Up
This week, and the weeks leading up to it, have been busy. Work at the bakery has been good, but it’s been a LOT. I just got off working six days in a row to help out a co-worker and, while I didn’t mind helping and would do it again if needed, I am very glad to be off today! My part of the business will be hopping through Thanksgiving and I will most likely be pulled in to help in our retail store during Christmastime, which is usually pure chaos, but also really fun.
The other bit of news from the past few weeks, since I’ve been absent from the blog, is that I have finally set one of my long-time goals into action: I now have an online store with some of my crochet stuff! Welcome to Tabby Cat Textiles! I don’t have a lot of things listed yet, but I’m working on it. Here are some pics of a few things that I have available.

It will be mostly stuff like this – scarves, hats, gloves, and maybe a few other things. I enjoy crochet, mostly because it really helps with my anxiety, but then I end up with a million scarves and things that I don’t need. I’m not really trying to make a lot of money doing this, but if I do, hey, that’s cool, too! If any of you could share it and help me spread the word, that would be amazing. I’m on Facebook and Instagram too. I’ve been a little nervous finally putting this out into the world, but also feel really excited that I’ve taken this step.
Other than that, I am ever so slowly working my way back into a proper reading habit. I sat down last night expecting to just read for 20 minutes and ended up reading for over an hour. It was so nice! I really just need to make myself slow down more, especially as the rest of my life speeds up.

Your crochet work is beautiful! I think you are exactly right about reading to slow things down. I need to work on that too!
Life can just get so hectic sometimes. It’s really hard to take a step back and just let things stop for a while.
So glad you got a chance to read a bit. The holidays are such a busy time overall. Great work on the crochet items, I’m better with knitting.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I tried teaching myself to knit years ago. It didn’t go well lol. I’ve loved crochet ever since I was a kid.
good luck with your new business venture!

Thank you! I’m excited. Even if I only sell a few things, it will be worth it.
