What did you recently finish reading?

I’m still making fairly steady progress on my reading goals. Not reading a lot each day, but trying to keep reading something each day. I finished reading These Broken Stars by Amie Kauffman and Meagan Spooner. I’m really glad that I reread this one because I did not remember the specifics of the story at ALL. It was even better than I remembered or expected. Plus, I never reviewed it when I read it before, so that review will be coming up soon.

What are you currently reading?

Currently reading This Shattered World by Amie Kauffman and Meagan Spooner. If I didn’t remember much of These Broken Stars, I remember this one even less. It’s a bit weird. At first, it didn’t feel connected to the first book at all, but at about the 65% mark, we are finally getting back into the over arching story with the protagonists from the first book. I have no idea where it’s going but I’m here for it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up will be Their Fractured Light by Amie Kauffman and Meagan Spooner. This is the third and final book of the series (and will cross another off my “Complete the Series” challenge). It’s also the only one that I haven’t read previously (although as stated before, I didn’t remember much about them from the first time, so it did feel like a brand new story in a way). I’m looking forward to seeing how all this wraps up.
