WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I am very happy because not only did I finish my read from last week, which was A Vow So Bold and Deadly by Brigid Kemmerer, but this was the last book in the Cursebreakers trilogy and thus checks off another series on my “Complete the Series” challenge! That’s three already and we’re not even a quarter of the way through the year! Very happy with that progress. Also, this series was so, so good.
What are you currently reading?
Since I’m having issues with my library at the moment, I decided to go with Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen. I read this book back in 2013 and, though it is the beginning of a trilogy, I never read further. It’s a Robin Hood retelling and I remember liking it a lot when I first read it, but not many of the actual details. I’m looking forward to re-reading it and reading the following three books.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve really wanted to read more from my GoodReads Award Winners list, but the problem with these books winning awards is that they are extremely popular and are thus difficult to find at the library. I have requests in for four of them, so I’m crossing my fingers that one of them comes through. In the meantime, I will continue with this other series with books 2 and 3, Lady Thief and Lion Heart by A.C. Gaughen.
That’s my reading for the week!

That is excellent progress! I hope that you sort out the issues with your library.
Have a great week!

My post:
Eh, it’s not so much issues as it’s that the books I’m trying to get are super popular and the wait times are long. They did win the GoodReads Awards after all!
I see. That’s annoying. I find that by the time it eventually becomes available it’s a rush to read because I have other books to get done!
