WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished Ruthless Vows by Rebecca Ross and absolutely loved it! That was such a nice series. Duologies are nice – short and sweet. Why don’t we have more of them? Series don’t have to be 30 books long (I’m looking at you, Yasmine Galenorn).
What are you currently reading?
I’m still plugging away at Caraval by Stephanie Garber. I hate saying it that way, since that implies that I don’t love this book – I absolutely do. What’s taking so long is trying to do the notes and annotating for the buddy read. I keep getting engrossed in the story and then forgetting that I’m supposed to be highlighting stuff. I’ve decided not to start anything else new until I finish it and get it shipped off to my friend who gets it next.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I had a book that I was going to read for book club this month, but I forgot that I will be out of town the weekend of the meeting. Which sucks, since I had to miss January’s meeting due to a stupid migraine. Other than that, I am planning on starting up another series on my “Complete the Series” list with A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer. I only read this first book of the series, I think right after it came out, but never went any further. I honestly, probably just forgot once new books came out, since while I don’t remember a lot of specifics of the story, I do remember liking it a lot. It will be nice to see where the rest of the story goes.
That’s my reading for the week!

Here’s mine:
Finished- House in the Cerulean Sea (that one was started in 2024)
Currently- Somewhere Beyond
Next- Islands of the Blessed
Did you like House in the Cerulean Sea? It’s on my TBR this year.
“If you love found family, magical youth, and the LGTBQ community then this book is for you”- this quote was from my review
I plan when I am going to read stuff as far as I can. I always forget school holidays 🤣 my son is currently on them so reading time has been severely reduced! Migraines are a nuisance.
Enjoy the buddy read and the annotating!
Have a great week!

My post:
Yeah, having kids around isn’t usually conducive to getting quiet reading time! My kids are grown now, one of them away at college, so it’s a bit easier for me.
😂 It really isn’t.
Time really flies doesn’t it. My oldest is 6 and is full of energy. My youngest is 19 months and also full of energy – he doesn’t walk he runs 😂
