January is National Hobby Month. Do you have any pastimes or interests other than reading that go well with your love of books and literature?
I don’t know if I have anything that is specific to my love of books, although I did for a while try and take my hobby in a direction that was inspired by books. Is that close enough?
I’ve mentioned before that I crochet and a while back, I decided to do crochet projects that were inspired by some of my favorite book covers. I only did two of these; a scarf inspired by The Grace Year by Kim Liggett and a wall hanging inspired by Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
I had a few others planned out to do, but unfortunately never got around to doing anything with them. Maybe I’ll return to it one of these days.

Ooh, I love that scarf! I’ve seen a ‘bookish quilt challenge’ going around lately where they crochet a square inspired by each book they read throughout the year. It sounds like a fun idea, but also a lot of work. Haha.
I’ve seen that going around too and I LOVE that idea. The problem is that I would need to buy a lot of yarn in a lot of different colors, and that gets pricey.
Yeah, I can see that being a problem too.
