WWW Wednesday – September 11, 2024

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Since last week, the only book I finished was The Athena Protocol by Shamim Sarif. This was a re-read from a blog tour I did years ago (you can check out that post here). I enjoyed it then and I enjoyed it this time around too.

What are you currently reading?

I’m still reading The Will of the Many by James Islington with Ezeekat’s Book Club over on Fable. This one will be a long term read, not just because I’m stretching it out for the book club’s time table, but it’s also a really big book! I’m also still listening to Ensnared by A.G. Howard, but I should be finishing it tomorrow – there’s not much left. I also started reading The Shadow Mission by Shamim Sarif, the sequel to The Athena Protocol. I’ve only just started it, but I’m definitely excited about continuing with these characters.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m still pretty far down the waitlist for the audio book of Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare at my library. I think I’m going to switch to Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare – this is the first book in the Dark Artifices trilogy, which happens after Mortal Instruments and follows the story of Emma and Julian. It’s available right now with no waiting. Other than that, I plan on reading Subject A36 by Teri Polen. Teri is a fellow book blogger and, while this book has been out for a while, she posted on her blog that this book was available on NetGalley if anyone wanted to get it. So I did! Sounds like a good dystopian tale, and you know I like those.

  1. I bought the first two in the Lady Midnight series but still need to read them. I’m sure that they will be excellent but they are big and I don’t have that sort of time at the moment!

    Have a great week!
