WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

It’s been almost exactly a month since my last WWW and I am happy to say that there has been some progress! Since last time, I’ve finished another audio book – Castle of Wizardry by David Eddings. I am still really enjoying listening to these and getting to know these characters again in a new way. It’s been a long time. I also finished the three books in the Shades of London series by Maureen Johnson – The Name of the Star, The Madness Underneath and The Shadow Cabinet. There is supposed to be a fourth book someday, but no news about that, so I am counting this for my “Complete the Series” challenge. It’s as complete as I can get it right now. Also, I really do hope there is another book in the works, because this one ended on a NOTE!

What are you currently reading?

I really need to get back to my “Beat the Backlist” challenge and didn’t want to read something that was part of a series, so I decided to go with The Dysasters by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. I’ve had this one sitting on my shelf for a while now. Technically, it is the first book of a series, but it is also the only book in the series. According to P.C.’s website, the series was cancelled and there is no plans to continue it. Which is a bummer, but I’m still interested in reading this one. I read their House of Night series several years ago and really enjoyed it, so I’m hoping this one is good too.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m hoping to read/listen to Enchanter’s End Game by David Eddings sometime soon. I didn’t expect there to be a wait list at my library, but there was. I’m next in line though, so it should be any day now. In theory. I will also pull another book from my backlist and read Pretty Girl-13 by Liz Coley. This was a gift during TBTB Secret Santa a couple years back. It’s more of a psychological thriller, which I don’t usually read much, so that should be fun.
