Ah, March. You really kicked my butt. Made me want to scream. Literally.
Oh well, let’s get into it.
March Reads
- Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings
- Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan
- Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
- Queen of Sorcery by David Eddings
Only four books, and I barely made it through some of them, as the below graph will show. I still cannot understand why it took me so long to get into and finish Strange the Dreamer, because I really enjoyed it. I’ve just been in a really weird headspace.
I know a lot of my issues currently have been directly related to the health problems I’ve been having. I even ended up in the emergency room several weeks ago due to having severe chest pains. Luckily, it wasn’t a heart attack or anything like that. I’m having issues with my rib cage, particularly where it connects into the sternum. It was super painful at the time, and luckily has gotten a bit better, although I’m still dealing with it. I have to take things day by day and see what I am physically and mentally able to do (because, of course, my mental health has been in a tail spin through all of this). I do think that I’m finally on the upswing and doing my best to stay positive, but it is hard sometimes.
Challenge Updates
GoodReads Challenge: My goal this year was to read 75 books. I am currently sitting at 20, which according to GoodReads is still one book ahead of schedule. That’s good at least!
Complete the Series: My goal this year was to complete six of the nineteen series that I haven’t completed yet, and in March, I completed . . . nothing again. I was planning on concentrating more on other challenges, although that didn’t really happen either. I plan to get back to this one soon.
Beat the Backlist: My goal this year was to read 25 books off of my owned TBR, and I did contribute to this one this month with Strange the Dreamer. That is only the second one for the year though, so I need to pick up the pace.
A-to-Z Challenge: In March, I only added one letter to my A-to-Z challenge, but it was a difficult letter, so I’m still pretty happy about it.

Blog Updates
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I only posted three times in March, once for February’s review, one Teaser/Top Ten post, and one WWW Wednesday. We’ll see how this goes leading into the new month.
Here’s hoping that April will be a better month all around!
