What did you recently finish reading?

I finished my two books that I was reading last week. I finished the audiobook for Going Bovine by Libba Bray. It has been several years since I first read this one, and I had forgotten how much of a jerk the main character is at the start. He gets better though. I also finished Beauty by Robin McKinley. This one I had mixed feelings about, and I’m hoping to get the review up for it tomorrow. This was also our February book club pick and we had a really fun time discussing it.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading . . . neither of my next picks from last week! Eh, the best laid plans, right? My next audiobook hold came in at the library, so I started listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I absolutely love this book and, as an added bonus, it’s one of my husband’s favorite books as well. We had a bit of a road trip this past weekend and it was really nice to have something to listen to in the car. I also started reading The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. I picked this one up instead of Strange the Dreamer just because I wanted to read something that I could easily finish by the end of the month – it’s a much shorter book than Strange! I’m really enjoying it so far.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Well, since I didn’t get to them this time, I will plan on reading Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor and start listening to The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. Unless something else comes up. You never can tell around here!
