Okay, it’s not Christmas anymore, but this one was so cute and so good and I really wanted to get a review in.

Blurb: A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms one small town into a romantic haven, the kind you see only in movies. Well, kinda. After all, a cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere would not normally end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger. And no one would think that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would lead to love with an old friend. Or that the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks. Thanks to three of today’s bestselling teen authors—John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle—the magic of the holidays shines on these hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and breathtaking kisses.
Review
This book was so cute! I’ve had it for years – I think it was even a Christmas present at one point. Plus, I’m a huge fan of all three of these authors, so I knew this was going to be good.
The three stories are all independent, but still connected to the same town, with main characters from one story mentioned in passing in another. The first story deals with Jubilee, a young girl on a train ride home for Christmas when the train breaks down due to the snowstorm. She and another passenger decide to leave the train and make for town and, well, things happen.
The second story is about Waffle House. Particularly a group of cheerleaders (also from the train) who have descended upon the Waffle House. Tobin and his friends decide to take a bet – that they can reach the Waffle House before another group and get to hang out with the hot cheerleaders from out of town. Remember, they are setting out in a snowstorm that is so bad that it STOPPED A TRAIN. Only good things can happen, right?
The final story is about Addie, a barista who broke up with her boyfriend and misses him terribly. She asks him to come to the coffee shop, but he doesn’t show up. Then Addie is tasked with one simple mission: go and pick up the teacup piglet that her friend has purchased. Of course, nothing simple ever goes simply, right? Especially not in this town.
This book was pure fluff, but it was so sweet and sincere, you can’t help but love every minute of it. It was a perfect perk to the holidays.
