What did you recently finish reading?

I finished both of my current reads from last week, so yay! I finished the audiobook of The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton and it was so good. That book is absolutely brilliant and listening to the audiobook was a completely different experience from reading it the first time around. I also finished When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill. It was a good book and I enjoyed it, but I also had some mixed feelings about it as well. You can see my review for it here.

What are you currently reading?

I started listening to the audiobook for Lock Every Door by Riley Sager and will probably finish that one either later today or tomorrow. It’s such a good book and it had been a few years since I had read it last. I also started reading a book off my owned TBR for my Beat the Backlist challenge – The Last Orphans by N.W. Harris. I got it for free, I believe, off of BookBub years ago. It’s the first book in a trilogy and it’s been very interesting so far.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I know what my next audiobook will be because I got notification of another hold of mine at the library that came available. Once I finish Lock Every Door, I will start my reread of The Circle by David Eggers. I think that was the last one I had requested, so I’ll need to go through my library’s catalog again soon. I will also be reading The Harvest by N.W. Harris, the second book in The Last Orphans trilogy. Very curious to see where this is going.
