WWW Wednesday – September 27, 2023

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Sigh.

See, here’s the thing. Between missing a WWW last week and trying to cram a bunch of books in to get back on track to read 100 books this year, I have . . . a lot. Since last time I posted a WWW post, I have finished both A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas and The Night Parade by Kathryn Tanquary, as well as Truly Devious, The Vanishing Stair, and The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson. I was very glad to finish the ACOTAR series (and a very spicy finish it was!) and I am really enjoying the Truly Devious books so far.

What are you currently reading?

I am continuing with the Truly Devious series with The Box in the Woods by Maureen Johnson. I’m liking it because of the characters, but I’m not enjoying it quite as much because they are not at Ellingham Academy. That school and it’s history was almost it’s own character in the first three books.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Planning on continuing the party with Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson. This is currently the last book in the series (there might be a sixth book according to GoodReads, but no info on it yet). We also get to go back to Ellingham, so I’m looking forward to it.

That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!
