This week’s teaser comes from The Glow by Aubrey Hadley:

That’s when it strikes me: This is the bit she told me to stay out of her way for. When we first met Arl, he said to us that we would help with military sampling after training. So she took too many pills to prove her intelligence sooner.

This is a book that was on my NetGalley shelf for a really long time – I don’t remember ever getting notified that I was approved for it, but I think it was also during a time when I was taking a break from blogging, so I might have missed it. There are a couple of other books that this happened to as well and I really want to get my NetGalley score back to 100%. This book has been pretty good so far!
