What did you recently finish reading?

This week I managed to finish two books. I finished the ARC for Citadel by C.M. Alongi and it was amazing! I absolutely loved it. This made up for my reading of Zone One by Colson Whitehead, which I really didn’t enjoy. Which makes me sad, because I really wanted to like it. Working on getting reviews up soon.

What are you currently reading?

Currently reading The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud, the first book in the Bartimaeus trilogy. I’ve read this one before, but didn’t read the next two books, which puts this in my “Complete the Series” challenge. And you know what that means . . .

What do you think you’ll read next?

My next read will be the second book in the trilogy, The Golem’s Eye by Jonathan Stroud. I’m really looking forward to these, since I remember really enjoying Amulet the first time around. Should be a fun way to round out June.
