Happy Monday, everyone! I am starting off the week getting tagged in a Harry Potter book tag post. I don’t get very many of these, so I figured that I would replace my usual Harry Potter Chapter-A-Long post with this.
(Or I may just do the Chapter-A-Long later on today. Depends on how busy I am.)
The Rules
Thank the person who tagged you (and paste these rules)
Show your house pride!
Choose who you would bring back
Choose a book to represent each of the 9 characters below
Tag 7 other bloggers.
#1 – Thank the person who tagged you
Thanks Paige at Bookish Paige for choose me for this tag! This should be fun and heartbreaking at the same time!
#2 – Show your house pride!

Eagles for the Cup!
#3 – Choose Who To Bring Back

This is so hard to choose! I really want to bring two people back, and I’ll explain, but if I can only choose one, I’m choosing Tonks. It has always broken my heart that Teddy had to grow up without his parents. If I could, I would bring both Tonks and Lupin back, but that’s against the rules. Boo.
#4 – Choose a book to represent each of the characters
SIRIUS BLACK
A book with the best father/mother figure.
Anger is a Gift by Mark Oshiro – I loved the relationship between Moss and his mom in this book. She is so supportive of him and understanding of what he is going through.
SEVERUS SNAPE
A book with a redeemable character.
Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins – Archer Cross has gotten into quite a bit of trouble, but there’s still hope for him. There has to be!
ALBUS DUMBLEDORE
A book with a great mentor/teacher
Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings – Going a bit old school on this one with the book that first got me reading fantasy. Both Belgarath and Polgara definitely count as mentors for Garion.
HEDWIG
A book with a great animal sidekick
The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman – Who didn’t read this book and immediately want a daemon! Or an armored polar bear!
DOBBY
A book with a character who created bad scenes on accident
Magic Street by Orson Scott Card – Mack doesn’t mean to make bad or weird or twisted things happen they just . . . sort of do when he’s around?
FRED WEASLEY
A book with your favorite brother/sister duo
Feed by Mira Grant – I love the dynamic between Georgia and Shaun in this entire series. They work closely together and always have each other’s back.
NYMPHADORA TONKS
A book with the best family feud
White Cat by Holly Black – Cassel’s family has all kinds of issues. Someone is always fighting with someone else. I don’t blame him for wanting to distance himself!
CEDRIC DIGGORY
A book where a character died too young/too soon
Looking for Alaska by John Green – I am both looking forward to and dreading the Hulu adaptation of this one. I don’t know if my heart can take it.
REMUS LUPIN
A book with your favorite shapeshifter
Splintered by A.G. Howard – Morpheus turns into a moth all the time, so that definitely counts, right? My favorite brooding moth boy!
