Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Purple Booker. Here are the rules if you want to play along:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
“Regiments of black crows are flying over all the land between the Mountains and the Grayflood,” he said, “and they have passed over Hollin. They are not natives here; they are crebain out of Fangorn and Dunland. I do not know what they are about: possibly there is some trouble away south from which they are fleeing; but I think they are spying out the land. I have also glimpsed many hawks flying high in the sky. I think we ought to move again this evening. Hollin is no longer wholesome for us: it is being watched.”
~ The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
It’s been a really long time since I’ve read The Lord of the Rings. I am very much enjoying it.
Please leave your teasers in comments!

My TT from The Dog
It really is. I really want to have a movie marathon after I finish reading the trilogy. It might take me all day to get through them all, but I’m gonna do it! 🙂
