Did you all miss me? I know I’ve missed being here. It’s been a long time, hasn’t it. Almost two months, I believe. As most of you know, I had a very good reason for being absent. I got to perform in a local community production of Into the Woods, a really fun Stephen Sodheim musical. It’s been a favorite of mine since high school, so getting the chance to actually be a part of it was a treat. I met some wonderful people and learned a lot about theater, both acting and the technical aspects. It was truly an amazing experience and I hope I get to do it again sometime.

For anyone who’s interested, there is a really good video of the original Broadway performance, starring the brilliant Bernadette Peters. You really should check it out.

But for now, it’s back to business as usual. Which means, of course, back to blogging. I haven’t been reading or writing much as of late, but it will be nice to get back to it. I’ve found a new reading challenge over on GoodReads that I’m pretty excited about. Not that I needed ANOTHER reading challenge, but this one is really interesting and has gotten me motivated to read more books off my TBR list (which is good, since that thing is getting way out of hand). More on the challenge later, once I actually start posting reviews.

For now, this was just a quick note to say hello and that I’m really glad to be back. I’ve missed you all. 🙂
