I was going to do a “Stacking the Shelves” post today, but as I was going over last week in my mind, I came to realize something.
I didn’t get any new books this week.
What? How is this possible? I must be sick or something.
So what to blog about? This weekend, my daughter and I got our house ready for Halloween. We have been hitting the dollar store like crazy and found quite a bit of stuff. Our front yard is now a spooky graveyard, with skulls scattered around and ravens perched on tombstones. We also cobwebbed our front porch, which was not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
Not bad for a day’s work!
Of course, today it’s raining like crazy, so hopefully everything will survive.

Obviously you were too busy doing fun things with Ash to buy books. Sometimes that’s better. Love the front yard 🙂
Love the yard, it looks so spooky…….here is a hint…look for decorations after Halloween, you can pick up good stuff for sometimes 75/80% off to use next year….I always found it a good way to build up my decorations…..just an idea….
