Sunday Post – July 6, 2025

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap what’s happened at the blog, and talk about things coming up. Let’s go!

Weekly Wrap Up

I feel weird calling this a “weekly” wrap up, since it’s been almost two months since my last Sunday Post. Honestly, not much has happened in that time. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been dealing with depression a bit more lately. Not sure what’s triggering it this time, but it almost makes me disassociate. It’s so hard to focus and I end up spending so much time scrolling mindlessly on my phone or just spacing out entirely. I’ve made it my goal this month to try and break myself out of it and, so far, it seems to be getting better. Instead of zoning out, I’m trying to limit how much time I spend on my phone, try to do other activities instead that require me to actually think, like read or play a game. It seems to be helping – the zoning out is getting better, at least. The depression is being stubborn, as per usual. But I’m getting there. Surviving.

Speaking of games a bit shout out to my go-to video games, Stardew Valley and Lord of the Rings Online, as well as my go-to board games, Azul and Space Base.

Another thing that made me really happy this last week was the BTS reunion. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a huge fan of these guys and they had their first livestream together as a full group since they’ve all been discharged from the military. It felt so good to see the family back together again! Got to watch two concerts via livestream – J-Hope’s encore concerts from the Hope on the Stage tour (which I got to see live in San Antonio back in March) and Jin’s first solo concert as he kicks off his solo tour. Sadly, I can’t make it to that one, but I’m hoping to get tickets next year when the whole group goes on tour. Fingers crossed.

  1. I’ve felt much more stressed this year but I know the cause – the convicted felon and his regime. I doomscroll too much. Right now we are in the hottest two months and it’s always sort of a juggle to get outdoor stuff done. My garden is doing well though with the late afternoon rain each day. I’m unfortunately watching more TV since we got one for Christmas. I used to never watch.
