Book Blogger Hop – April 11, 2025

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly feature hosted by Billy at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week, a new book related question is posted and everyone can share their answers. This week’s question is:

How many days does it usually take you to finish reading a book?

I was curious about this. I had a general idea in my head, but I wanted to see what I’ve tracked in Bookmory this year so far. It’s been a bit all over the place. The fastest I read a book was in two days (it was pretty short though). The longest took nineteen days (this was Caraval, which I was annotating for a swap and there were several days where I barely read anything during that time). It looks like I average around four to five days most of the time, with obvious variations.

Be sure to check out the other answers of this week’s Book Blogger Hop and let me know how long it usually takes you to finish a book!

  1. 4/5 days for me too. I’ve had a couple of 2/3 day ones, but that was my panic reading stint 😂

    Have a great week!

  2. Actually tracking it properly would be really interesting, I’ve just gone with a general ballpark with my answer!

  3. It is usually three days, but sometimes maybe 4 or 5 depending what’s going on and the interest level.

    Thanks for your reply.
