Weekly Wrap Up
This last week has been a little bit weird. This is mostly due to work starting to get more and more hectic. Don’t get me wrong – I like it better when it’s busy. It makes me feel more motivated, gets me excited, and I do like the bigger paychecks! It’s also just very, very tiring. As such, I am very glad that I am off today. I worked six days in a row last week, which may not sound like much, but it was a lot for me.
In other good news, the kiddo found a job! She started her new job on Wednesday. It’s just a retail job at a store that primarily sells undergarments and active wear, but she’s really excited about it and feels good about finally having her own money again. I’ve been worried about her since she decided to take some time away from college, but I’m hoping that having the job helps her feel a bit better about herself. Being stuck in the house all day was NOT good for her mental health, and her being down in the dumps is not good for MY mental health.
I haven’t been on the blog all that much this week, mostly just to the aforementioned business and tiredness. I will try to get back to it a bit more next week. Wish me luck!
